BeBOP aims to industrially deploy a disruptive, digital process-intensified, ultra-high resource efficient and flexible biomass power-to-methanol plant, that can transform the chemical sector, while showcasing a first-of-its-kind complete TRL6 pilot plant, ready to be scaled-up and replicated by the European biomass-based industry.

BeBOP Partners

BeBOP gathers the major players in the SOEC and Methanol value chain and has been assembled to mobilise necessary capabilities, experience, and knowledge to efficiently achieve the project aims and impacts, in a timely and cost effectively way. The consortium, gathering 12 institutions from 7 EU Member States, includes four SMEs (EUCORE, ELCOGEN, ICODOS, and ECODESIGN), one large company (WOOD), two universities (POLIMI and LUT), three research centers (INERIS, VTT, and RIC), and one Italian National Standards Body (UNI), being able to ensure intersectorality, complementary expertise, state-of-the-art capabilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
